Capital City Futsal LEVEL O Futsal COACHING COURSE. Capital Futsal hosted a two-day futsal coaching course over the weekend of November 1st and 2nd.
Tutor, Mike Corringham ( senior Futsal coach from Community Soccer Association, Sydney) put the 13 budding coaches through their paces in obtaining their "Australian Federation Level 0 and Level 1" plus the "Arena Soccer Level One Coaching Licence". Mike was also on hand to begin the first 30 hours of the Level 2.
The course was based on FFA and the Australian High Performance Futsal coaching Accreditation and contained practical and theoretical components with an emphasis on practical involvement by participants.
Representatives came from Hawkes Bay, Capital Futsal as well as two outdoor coaches from Capital Football. The course was very productive in also forming a strong alliance between Hawkes Bay and Capital Futsal.
The stormy weather which battered the lower North Island on the Saturday was in sharp contrast to the beautiful sunny Sunday not that the weather conditions stops a good game of futsal. The final day was completed watching Brasil take-on South Korea in the FIFA U17s Womens World Cup. |
